What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major debit and credit cards from customers in every country in more than 135 currencies. Beyond Visa, American Express and Mastercard there’s also the option to pay by transfer or to checkout with PayPal.

How safe is my personal information?

We take strong precautions to ensure that your information is safe with us. We do not store your credit card information and our site uses a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to encrypt all personal information sent during the check out process. We encrypt your passwords so that even our team is unable to view them and we have not, nor ever will, sell your information to any third parties. Shipping

What shipping methods are available?

Currently there’s only one shipping option available. We ship all our products insured with Deutsche Post / DHL. You can check your current order status directly on our site (Track your order).

The shipping costs are €4.75 to Germany and €6.20 to the rest of the world. At an order value of €95 the shipping to Germany is free. When shipped to the rest of the world the shipping is free at an order value of €100.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship worldwide. Please notice that the delivery time to non-European countries can vary depending on the mode of shipment (air mail/over land/per ship) and the respective place of the receiver.

How long will it take to get my package?

The time your order takes to be delivered varies depending on your delivery address. The delivery period is about 1-3 days within Germany and 5-8 days within the EU. To non-European countries the delivery time varies depending on the mode of shipment (air mail/over land/per ship) and the respective place of the receiver.

Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding national holidays in Germany. You can check your current order status directly on our site (Track your order).

How do I track my order?

You can check your current order status directly on our site (Track your order). Enter your email address and your Order ID, wich was given to you on your receipt and in the confirmation email you should have received, and press the “Track” button.

Why is my order delayed?

We always aim to deliver your order within our standard delivery times, but sometimes unexpected factors can cause delays in your delivery.

In such a case you can easily track the status of your order. Enter your email address and your Order ID, wich was given to you on your receipt and in the confirmation email you should have received, and press the “Track” button.

I didn’t received my package, what should I do?

If you haven’t received your package within our standard delivery times, please track the status of your order. If this does not answer your questions, please contact us.

Ordering process

How do I place an Order?

To place your order, choose the product you want and enter the quantity, and click “Add to cart“. To review your selected products, click “View Cart“. To continue, click “Checkout“. Please enter the required information such as Name, Address etc. Before clicking “Proceed”, please check your Order Details carefully. If you want to add a different Delivery Address, check the box “Ship to a different address?“. By choosing the payment method and clicking “Proceed“ you get to the next step in the ordering process.

How can I cancel or change my order?

Generally it is not possible to cancel or change your order. In case something went wrong during the ordering process (wrong product or quantity, outdated address, …) please contact us.

How do I use my voucher?

With a voucher, you’re able to get a discount when you purchase products through our online store. To use your voucher pick a product and go either to your shopping bag by clicking “View Cart“ or directly to the check out page by clicking “Checkout“. Here you can enter your Coupon code.

Keep in mind that the voucher is only valid for a limited time and may not be applicable to all products. Vouchers cannot be combined with other promotions, offers or discounts. and cannot be applied after you’ve placed an order.

I redeemed a voucher but it will not be accepted, what should I do?

Sometimes when you try to use a voucher code you can get a message saying it’s either expired or not recognized. If it’s expired, you won’t be able to use it any more. If it’s not recognized you need to make sure you are using the voucher correctly first. Read the terms and conditions which can be found at the bottom of the email. Also make sure the voucher applies to all the items in your bag – not all items are eligible for promo codes.

If none of these issues apply, make sure you’ve entered the voucher code exactly as it appears. It’s easy to make mistakes if you enter the code manually. Check spacing, character errors and/or spelling mistakes. The voucher code field is case-sensitive. Check that ‘Caps Lock’ button is not on and use upper case where necessary. Check you’re not mixing up the numbers 0/1 and the letters O/I.

If you are sure your voucher is valid for your order but it still doesn’t work, please contact us.

Do I need an account to place an order?

No. When placing an order you can decide weather you want to create a new account or not. From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing addresses and edit account details. You also wont have to enter the required information again such as Name, Addresses etc. You have the possibility to delete your account at any time.

How do I create an account?

When placing an order you have the option to create a new account by clicking “Create an account?“. To access your account click the “Login“ button at the top of the page and enter your email address and your password.

From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing addresses and edit account details. You also wont have to enter the required information again such as Name, Addresses etc. You have the possibility to delete your account at any time. To do so please contact us and we will delete your account as soon as possible.

How do I change my password?

To change your password click the “Login“ button at the top of the page and enter your email address and your password. By clicking “Account details“ you can change your name, your email address as well as your password. If you forgot your password you can easily reset it.

How do I reset my password?

It’s easy to reset your password. Start off by clicking the “Login“ button at the top of the page. Click “Forgot Your Password?“ then enter the email address you use to get into your account. Click “Submit“, and we’ll send you a password reset confirmation straight away.

When you get the email, open it and click “Confirm“. Enter a new password, and finalise it by clicking “Apply“.

Congratulations! You have a new password. We’ll send you an email to confirm you made the change.

Why are some items limited to one?

Each Bal Designs wallet is handmade and a unique item. Most of the wallets are made from individually collected basketballs, which gives them their distinctive unique feature. We often create more than one case from a single basketball wich is why certain special wallets are limited to one and others are not.

Is it possible to buy the same item more than once?

Is it possible to get a custom made Bal Designs case made of my own basketball?

Yes, we can. Please write us an email containing what type of case you want (Categories) and a photo of your basketball. Apart from the shipping costs you don’t pay any surcharge or additional fees. Please notice that we make all our cases by hand wich is why the production of your individual wallet can take up to 8 weeks. Yet it often just takes 1-2 weeks and anticipation, as we all know,  is the most beautiful kind of joy after all.
